Mike Mellross, City of Edmonton
Mike Mellross is the Energy Transition Program Manager at the City of Edmonton. His team is responsible for the implementation of Edmonton’s Community Energy Transition Strategy, a long-term plan with over 150 actions across seven opportunities, designed to advance Edmonton on a lowcarbon path. Mike has over 20 years of experience in both private and public organizations, working exclusively in the realm of environmental management and sustainability. Over the last ten years he has focused on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and policy development in the realm of climate change mitigation. Mr. Mellross has degrees in Environmental Science, Water Pollution Studies, and Natural Sciences and is a registered Professional Agrologist with the Alberta Institute of Agrologist.
