Pamela Goertzen is the founding Executive Director for SSRIA. In this multi-faceted role, Pamela has created a robust and financially diligent operational structure while deploying a suite of programs and activities that are driving the organizational mission of accelerating the adoption of low-carbon building solutions. She is passionate about addressing climate change both professionally and personally, and is driven by the economic development potential of fostering innovation in the building sector.
Pam has been developing and managing energy efficiency and social change programs in Alberta for the past 20 years including a senior role with Summerhill to oversee the implementation of residential energy efficiency programs on behalf of Energy Efficiency Alberta, and a 14 year tenure with C3 (previously Climate Change Central) developing and delivering energy efficiency programs to Albertans.
Pamela holds a Bachelor of Management from Athabasca University and a diploma in bilingual business administration with a specialization in marketing from NAIT.
