EDMONTON – Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources, the Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, will participate in the Alberta Energy Efficiency Summit 2019 as a keynote speaker on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. The Alberta Energy Efficiency Alliance (AEEA) will bring together energy efficiency leaders and experts, such as Minister Sohi, to showcase the important discussions taking place around energy efficiency in Alberta and around the world.
The annual Summit is a multi-day event held at the Edmonton Convention Centre on February 25-27, 2019. The event will kick off with an afternoon workshop, hosted by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and Canadian Industry Partnership for Energy Conservation (CIPEC), followed by two days of exclusive keynote presentations, panel discussions, concurrent sessions, and networking opportunities.
The AEEA strives to continuously engage with its members, stakeholders and the energy efficiency community through industry collaboration and educational opportunities.
“The Alberta Energy Efficiency Alliance (AEEA) is excited to have a distinguished, national leader like Minister Sohi as a keynote speaker for the 2019 Summit. After being one of the last jurisdictions in North America to adopt energy efficiency policies and programs, Alberta is now heading in a positive direction and the Summit is a well-attended and well-supported forum for this change.” – Wayne Morishita, Executive Director, AEEA
